JANUARY 2012 - We are so proud that Mr Given Lubinda, Minister for Information, Broadcasting and Tourism, came to see Waterberry during his swift visit to the area. Here the manager Gail explains our drainage system that prevents any foul water reaching the Zambezi. He was pleased - and so are we!
SEPTEMBER 2011 - you can run but you can't hide! The elusive African Finfoot hiding on the banks of the river by the lodge - one for the Life List.
NOVEMBER 2010 - Martin Sedo Roper by the swimming pool - we're sure we could all do that if we really wanted to.
AUGUST 2010. We love this shot. Rickie Swink and his family were invited into one of the village homes where he captured the curtain blowing in the wind.
SEPTEMBER 2010 - Penny Walter sent photos of the village walk - fees for the village walk go into a fund for building a new school.
AUGUST 2010 - Elephant have been in and around the lodge for a few days now - providing lots of entertaintment, managing not to knock too many trees down, and generally being available to greet guests!
In the nearby village of Siandunda the ladies make strong baskets from local palm leaves - guests can buy them while on the village walk.
It's fun to update the website with guests' photos and we would love to hear from you with your photos and comments. Send them to reservations@waterberrylodge.com and we'll reply straight away. Thank you! From Tessa, Gail, Kevin and the team.
